Gremotool with VBA
Autonome Mobile Cobot

The autonomous mobile loading cobot handles all workpiece and tool handling directly at the machine tool. Its integrated storage system consists of a plastic bin, which the cobot picks up, swaps and returns to its place autonomously.
Thanks to this flexible storage solution, the cobot can continuously supply workpieces and tools without the need for manual intervention. This enables long, low-staffed running times, stable processes and optimal machine utilisation – ideal for modern, autonomous manufacturing environments.
Logistics
In-house logistics are automated using autonomous mobile cobots. These automatically replenish the tool and workpiece storage systems as required. This minimises the space required at the machine thanks to the storage system.
Modularity
A handling system is the starting point for successful automated production. The AMC’s modular architecture allows the system to be expanded step by step until the entire process chain runs intelligently, reliably and seamlessly.
Machine utilisation
Production machines operate more efficiently when workpieces and tools are fed in and removed automatically. This avoids unnecessary waiting times and ensures that machines can be operated for longer each day.

FlexiCell

Gremotool offers high-quality clamping devices and perfectly tailored handling solutions. When combined with the workpiece handling system from Vischer & Bolli Automation, this creates a seamless, automated manufacturing process.
The system retrieves raw material from drawers, automatically loads it into our clamping devices, rotates the workpiece after the initial machining operation, and returns the finished part to its place. Workpiece clamping takes place entirely within the machine tool.
Minimal set-up times, long periods of low-labour production thanks to multiple drawers, and optimal machine utilisation ensure maximum productivity.
Cost savings
In the long term, investing in a handling system reduces operating costs. Less waste, longer production times and optimised staff deployment lead to savings and increase competitiveness.

Efficiency
Handling systems minimise the time required for manual intervention. Workpieces are moved by the robot, which speeds up the entire production process.

EntryLine

The flexible handling system for large workpieces from Vischer & Bolli Automation handles not only workpieces but also pallets and vices, and can be perfectly combined with Gremotool’s clamping devices.
Instead of conventional drawers, the system uses a rack or an intelligent lift system with shelves. These shelves can accommodate both individual workpieces and complete, pre-prepared clamping units. This provides two automation options:
– Workpiece handling for fully automated material flow
– Pallet/vise handling for rapid set-up changes with complete clamping assemblies
The result: maximum flexibility, long periods of operation with minimal staff and optimal utilisation of the machine tool.
